In this recorded webinar, the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) hosts a webinar discussion addressing vaccine coverage disparities in the US. Speakers address issues and challenges that impact vaccination rates and strategies to help overcome barriers to vaccine access and uptake in the US. 

NFID Medical Director Robert (Bob) H. Hopkins, Jr., MD, moderates the discussion with Adjoa Kyerematen, MS, Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications, National Minority Quality Forum, Reed V. Tuckson, MD, Chair of Board of the Coalition for Trust in Health & Science, and Julissa Soto, MPH, Principal, Julissa Soto Consulting. 

At the conclusion of the activity, participants will be able to:

  • Identify issues, barriers, and challenges that impact vaccination rates in the US 
  • Evaluate strategies to reduce barriers to equitable vaccine access and uptake in the US

The National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
